OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST HAND/UE
Froedtert Health, Milwaukee, WI – Froedtert Hospital
Shift: Shift 1 – Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Holidays and weekends not required. Position is full‑time but 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week).
Job SummaryThe Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care and treatment programs. The therapist participates in varied Rehabilitation Services department activities designed to enhance patient care and programs. A Occupational Therapist II demonstrates advanced evaluation and treatment skills and is involved in program development, staff education, student supervision. Also demonstrates emerging leadership skills and mentors department staff.
Other duties as assigned.
A minimum of two years of clinical occupational therapist experience meeting Level I responsibilities as determined by interview and assessment.
EducationBachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy program is required.
Special SkillsMust be proficient at all OT level 1 competencies, maintain productivity level, demonstrate optimal customer service performance, and have the potential to take on additional responsibilities. May require clinical expertise in specific discipline.
LicenseWI state license as an occupational therapist is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA‑approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire.
