We are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist contractor to support R&D initiatives in the beverages industry. The role focuses on graphic refreshes for product portfolios, including the development of nutrition and ingredient label declarations compliant with US FDA regulations, as well as updates to legacy label documentation.

Job Title: R&D Sr Specialist (Regulatory Affairs Specialist)
Location: Valhalla, NY
Rate: $35/hr
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Ensure accuracy of regulatory information in databases and on final artwork
• Support nutrition, labeling, claims, and regulatory questions for the US market
• Apply understanding of US FDA labeling regulations, including ingredient statements, nutrition facts, allergen declarations, and claims
• Monitor and ensure compliance with current and future US regulations

• BS in Food Science, Regulatory, Nutrition, or equivalent
• 1–2 years of regulatory affairs experience in the food CPG industry
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently
• Excellent computer skills; experience with Product Vision, Imageworx, Microsoft Office preferred
