Opportunity:

Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, three days per week

• Every other weekend required

• Perform respiratory care and pulmonary diagnostic procedures for patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies

• Provide therapeutic treatment and diagnostic testing using medical gases, equipment, environmental control systems, humidification, and aerosols

• Administer medications to the cardiopulmonary system

• Manage ventilatory support and life support systems maintenance

• Conduct bronchopulmonary clearance and breathing exercises

• Provide patient education and cardiopulmonary resuscitation

• Maintain natural and artificial airways

• Work in both critical care and non-critical care areas with patients of all ages

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in general and critical care required

• 2+ years of hospital respiratory care experience preferred

• Required certifications:
Wisconsin RCP license, RRT credential from NBRC, BLS, ACLS

• Associate degree from CoARC accredited Respiratory Care program required

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care preferred
