Role Summary
Catering Manager - Fiserv Forum at Levy Restaurants
. The role oversees in‑house catering facilities, manages daily operations of all catering functions, coordinates with catering sales and culinary teams, and maintains equipment, inventory, and service standards.
- Ensure all catering services exceed guest expectations and profitability.
- Communicate client needs through accurate written and verbal communication.
- Develop and maintain location‑specific food and wine knowledge.
- Secure client food and beverage selections in advance of event dates.
- Hold team accountable for service steps to deliver excellent guest service.
- Maintain high hospitality standards and show quality at all times.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, guests, subcontractors, and Levy team members.
- Obtain regular feedback from clients and guests to improve operations.
- Support and communicate company initiatives.
- Respond to and assist with any departmental guest service issues.
- Execute all menus, promotions, and programs as outlined by the Director of Catering.
- Achieve daily sales and assigned cost goals, meeting budget targets.
- Use safety and sanitation practices and enforce responsible alcohol service policies.
- Complete required daily reports and month‑end financial closing.
- Adhere to Levy Company guidelines, training manuals, and employee handbooks.
- Promote revenue development and sales of profitable Levy services.
- Prepare account forecasts and group sales analysis per Levy Core Signature Guidelines.
- Ensure accurate billing, receipt of payments, and use performance‑management tools to give feedback.
- Promote a cooperative work climate, conduct regular meetings, and maintain open communication.
- Interview, hire, train, and develop team members following Levy guidelines.
- Display a positive attitude toward team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a food and beverage operational position.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management (preferred).
- High level of computer literacy.
- Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
