Public Area Attendant

As a Public Area Attendant, you will ensure the main lobby, common areas, bathrooms, and coffee stations are pristine, well‑kept, and fully stocked.

Connected to the newly expanded Baird Center, the Hilton Milwaukee is Milwaukee’s largest hotel. Built in 1927 as the Schroeder Hotel, the Hilton Milwaukee offers

• Greet all guests with a positive attitude.
• Promote excellent guest/associate rapport by completing all requests promptly, efficiently, and courteously.
• Clean and maintain all assigned areas including lobby, exterior of building, parking ramp, restaurant, spa, bathrooms, stairwells, pool, fitness center, and elevators in accordance with the established standards of cleanliness.
• Maintain all floor/carpet/doormat care needs within the hotel.
• Ensure all supplies are in place.
• Participate in the promotion of safety and security in assigned work areas.
• Perform all other related duties and special projects as requested and/or assigned.

• Previous cleaning, maintenance, housekeeping or janitorial experience helpful.
• Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well‑groomed and courteous manner.
• Ability to use all cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, lift, grasp, stretch, and use a vacuum and push a cart on a regular and extended basis.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays and the ability to work under pressure.
