Job Title:Senior Manager, Benefits & Compensation
Type: Direct Hire
Schedule: M-F, 8-5
Pay Range: $160k - $180k + bonus
SummaryConnect Search is hiring a Senior Manager, Benefits & Compensation in Milwaukee.
Responsibilities- Manage the design and administration of benefit plans including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, health savings, flexible spending accounts, disability, and other benefits.
- Design, adjust, and implement benefit offerings that attract and retain talent, fostering a productive workplace.
- Ensure compliance with laws such as ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA, etc.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, develop relationships, manage RFP processes, and evaluate options.
- Develop and manage benefit budgets, analyze usage data, identify cost-saving opportunities, and forecast future costs.
- Serve as a benefits expert, educate employees through presentations and communications.
- Oversee annual benefit enrollment, including communication and system updates.
- Manage leaves policies including FMLA, medical leave, parental leave, and disability, ensuring compliance and positive employee experience.
- Lead the compensation function, ensuring strategies support business objectives and legal compliance.
- Collect and analyze data for market and pay equity studies, ensuring competitive total rewards.
- Oversee annual compensation reviews, ensuring compliance and collaboration with HR teams.
- Stay informed of industry trends, propose innovations, and champion organizational change.
- Lead, mentor, and develop benefits and compensation teams.
- Manage projects related to benefits and compensation using project management methodologies.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 10+ years of employee benefits experience required.
- Experience managing a compensation function required.
- 5+ years of leadership experience required.
- Familiarity with HR systems desired.
