In this critical role, you will actively execute the precise movement of data from diverse legacy sources directly into the Salesforce CRM and Health Cloud platform. Your expertise is vital for ensuring the accurate, compliant, and secure transfer of sensitive patient and clinical data.

You'll leverage advanced SQL and SOQL query skills, proficiency with AWS cloud services, and a deep command of established Salesforce best practices to deliver flawless data integrity and client success.

What you will do
  • Execute and validate specific phases of the data migration lifecycle, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL/ELT).
  • Build and optimize complex SQL queries for manipulating, cleansing, and transforming large datasets from source systems.
  • Develop and manage efficient SOQL queries to extract, update, and validate data within the Salesforce environment.
  • Work hands‑on with AWS data services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda) to stage, process, and prepare data for ingestion.
  • Utilize Salesforce integration tools, such as the Data Loader and Bulk API, to efficiently load data into Health Cloud objects.
  • Collaborate with Data Architects and Senior Engineers on the development of data mapping documents from legacy models to the Salesforce Health Cloud data model.
  • Assist in performing data profiling, cleansing routines, and reconciliation activities.
  • Support rigorous testing efforts, including unit testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure data integrity and accuracy post-migration.
  • Strictly adhere to protocols ensuring data handling and security comply with HIPAA and other relevant healthcare privacy regulations.
  • Troubleshoot data integrity issues and optimize ETL performance under supervision.
What we look for
  • 2–3 years of practical experience in data engineering, ETL, or dedicated data migration, with exposure to the Salesforce platform.
  • Solid foundational knowledge of Salesforce Administration.
  • Understanding of the standard Salesforce data model (objects, field types, relationships).
  • Proven ability to write, debug, and optimize complex SQL queries.
  • Experience in writing and managing SOQL queries for data interaction within Salesforce.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce Health Cloud data model and common standard objects.
  • Hands‑on proficiency with Salesforce Data Loader & Workbench
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets data manipulation skills (e.g., pivot tables, text‑to‑columns, VLOOKUP, cleaning functions).
  • Basic understanding of ELT principles and tools (e.g., Mule Soft, Talend, or Python scripting).
  • Comfortable managing user access, profiles, and permission sets
  • Experience working with AWS services (S3, RDS, or Glue) in a data environment.
  • Exposure to the Healthcare industry and an awareness of sensitive data, PHI, and HIPAA requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and a dedication to detail and accuracy.
  • Meticulous Attention to Detail in tracking data quality and accuracy.
  • Process‑Oriented, with the ability to follow a multi‑step data migration checklist accurately.
  • Eager to learn complex ETL processes and advanced SQL / SOQL from senior team members
  • Salesforce Certified Developer or Administrator (preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically to client sites as required.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate
