Badger Meter, a global leader in water technology, is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Solution Architect to develop and execute enterprise‑wide BI strategies. The role involves designing scalable reporting and analytics solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to translate data into actionable insights, and supporting ERP implementation to ensure data integrity and efficient reporting.

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of scalable BI solutions to support enterprise-wide reporting and analytics.
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights through data visualization and reporting.
• Define and promote best practices for dashboard development, data storytelling, and self‑service analytics.
• Establish and maintain data governance protocols and documentation standards.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive Business Intelligence strategy aligned with organizational goals.
• Serve as a key member of the core team for a multi‑year ERP replacement initiative.
• Leverage BI tools to support master data cleanup, validation, and migration efforts.
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across all phases of the ERP implementation.
• Design and build the semantic layer for post‑ERP BI reporting and analytics.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field (required).
• 5+ years of experience in BI Development, Data Architecture, and/or Database administration (strongly desired).
• Proficiency in BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Micro Strategy, Qlik and strong SQL skills.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and data migration projects.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and experience engaging cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Expertise in modern data warehousing and semantic layer architecture.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and its integration with Power BI and other data services.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Power Shell).
• Working knowledge of Salesforce SOQL.
