IT Business Analyst – Supply Chain / WMS / TMS
Contract | 6–9 Months | Milwaukee or Chicago (4 Days Onsite, 1 Remote)

We’re searching for an IT Business Analyst who knows Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, and Transportation Management well enough to make an immediate impact. If you enjoy digging into operational workflows, partnering with business teams, and translating complex needs into clean technical requirements, this role will feel like home.
What You’ll Do- Work directly with Supply Chain, Warehouse, and Transportation teams to understand processes and define project scope and requirements.
- Support distribution, transportation, inventory management, and forecasting initiatives.
- Evaluate current workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Serve as the link between business stakeholders and IT, ensuring strong documentation of requirements, processes, and functional specs.
- Support enhancements, integrations, and configurations for a custom, homegrown WMS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Assist with system upgrades, process optimization, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Provide data-driven insights to enhance overall supply chain performance.
- 5+ years as an IT Business Analyst in Supply Chain, WMS, or TMS environments.
- Solid understanding of distribution, transportation, inventory management, and forecasting operations.
- Experience working with WMS/TMS platforms; exposure to custom or legacy systems is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with SAP (preferred) or JD Edwards in supply chain or logistics modules.
- Ability to convert business needs into technical requirements, user stories, and clear documentation.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working across business and technical teams.
- Proven problem-solving ability and experience managing multiple initiatives.
- Knowledge of SAP MM, WM, EWM, or TM modules.
- Experience supporting distribution or fulfillment operations.
- Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools, or process mapping.
