Data Center Technician I​/Entry Level Mount , WI Onsite

Our client, a leading organization in data infrastructure, is seeking a Data Center Technician I / Entry Level (Mount Pleasant/Milwaukee, WI) to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, I / Entry Level (Mount Pleasant, WI), you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting critical physical hardware and environmental systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for technical work, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technician I / Entry Level (Mount Pleasant, WI) (100% ONSITE)

Location: Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin

Pay Range: $30

• Rack, stack, cable, and label servers, network devices, and storage units
• Perform hardware installs, replacements, and component swaps (disks, power supplies, fans)
• Assist in monitoring power, cooling, and environmental systems (HVAC, CRAC, airflow sensors)
• Execute work orders via ticketing systems under guidance from senior technicians
• Participate in shift rotations, including nights and weekends, to support 24/7 operations

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some prior experience in industrial, electrical, mechanical, or IT support preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces
• Basic familiarity with cabling (copper / fiber) is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting mindset, and ability to follow procedures
