Technology Architect – SAP MDM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.

• Must have at least 3 full life cycle implementations of SAP MDM on multi-domains.
• Implementation experience includes, but not limited to, requirements gathering, designing the future state solution, customization, development and post implementation support.
• Must have directly interfaced with customer in at least two engagements.
• Strong understanding of Data modelling, Data integration, Data Governance/Quality, Data architecture, project life cycle phases, best practices and processes.
• Must have sound knowledge and experience of implementing multiple MDM architectures and business processes across multiple master data domains e.g. Material , Customer and Vendor.
• Knowledge and experience on SAP MDG preferred.
• Knowledge of data quality tools (like SAP Information Steward) and ETL Tools (like SAP BODS, Data stage, etc) preferred.
• Must possess strong communication, problem solving and communication and presentation skills.
• Having SAP certifications will be an added advantage.
• Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point.
• Analytical skills.
• At least 3 years of experience in thought leadership, white papers and leadership/mentoring of staff and internal consulting teams.
• Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environment that requires regular travel.

• Provide technology consulting and architect SAP MDM solutions.
• Provide solutions in alignment with IT strategy, MDM Standards, platforms and key enterprise roadmaps.
• Provide effort estimation, solution definition and design support for MDM opportunities to pre-sales team and project management team.
• Review project risks and identify key risk elements from technology perspective, propose mitigation plan.
• Participate in requirement gathering sessions to understand system and non-functional requirements for MDM projects.
• Evaluate solution alternatives, technical feasibility before proposing solution architecture.
• Build and implement best practices, reusable components and solution accelerators in SAP MDM.
• Provide guidance and mentor MDM consultants.
