Mainframe Developer
We are hiring a Mainframe Developer to join our organization onsite in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Qualifications & Experience Needed- Development experience with Mainframe technologies including: COBOL, Easytrieve, JCL, scheduling, etc.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
- Capability to be onsite in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - this role is onsite.
- Develop automated programs to meet design specifications and business requirements.
- Research and evaluate alternatives, analyze complexity and feasibility, and recommend optimal solutions.
- Coordinate interfaces between systems and applications for smooth interoperability.
- Participate in technical planning, including task estimation, scheduling, and dependency management.
- Create and execute test plans, build test data, and validate processes in compliance with established standards.
- Deliver assigned projects successfully, including detailed program documentation and regular progress updates to management.
- Ensure adherence to development life cycle processes and coding standards.
- Provide support for various corporate function systems.
- Availability for off-hours work as needed (24/7 support environment).
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.88 - $78.33/hr.
