Mainframe Developer

We are hiring a Mainframe Developer to join our organization onsite in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

• Development experience with Mainframe technologies including: COBOL, Easytrieve, JCL, scheduling, etc.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
• Capability to be onsite in Milwaukee, Wisconsin - this role is onsite.

• Develop automated programs to meet design specifications and business requirements.
• Research and evaluate alternatives, analyze complexity and feasibility, and recommend optimal solutions.
• Coordinate interfaces between systems and applications for smooth interoperability.
• Participate in technical planning, including task estimation, scheduling, and dependency management.
• Create and execute test plans, build test data, and validate processes in compliance with established standards.
• Deliver assigned projects successfully, including detailed program documentation and regular progress updates to management.
• Ensure adherence to development life cycle processes and coding standards.
• Provide support for various corporate function systems.
• Availability for off-hours work as needed (24/7 support environment).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $52.88 - $78.33/hr.
