Catalyst Meadows Solutions, a growing software development company, seeks a Dev Ops Engineer in Milwaukee, WI, for a position. This role involves managing continuous integration and deployment processes to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure software.
In this role, you will be responsible for automating infrastructure, which involves creating scripts and tools to manage and provision cloud resources efficiently. This will include setting up and maintaining virtual machines, storage systems, and networking components. You will also improve deployment pipelines by implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices, ensuring that code changes are automatically tested, built, and deployed.
Additionally, you will enhance software delivery processes by implementing best practices for version control, code review, and release management. Furthermore, you will maintain and optimize our cloud-based environment, which includes monitoring and managing our cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance of our applications. This will involve setting up and configuring cloud services, such as load balancers, databases, and caching systems, to meet the demands of our users.
You will also implement security measures to protect our applications and data from potential threats.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS Cloud Formation.
- Monitor and maintain our cloud-based infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Implement and manage security best practices for our cloud-based environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the Dev Ops space.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Dev Ops or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Power Shell.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS Cloud Formation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
