This is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in legal research, data analysis, and litigation support. Legal Analysts serve as a key part of our Content team, interpreting court documents, tracking expert witness involvement, and delivering case law analytics that help shape litigation strategy.
You’ll work extensively with leading legal research platforms similar to—
Westlaw
, Bloomberg Law
, Lexis Nexis —and within Data Central
, our proprietary content collection and curation tool. This role offers strong potential for growth for those who are curious, driven, and committed to excellence.
- Review online civil case dockets and documents to identify, analyze, and record expert witness activity
- Conduct legal research using free and fee‑based databases to summarize, organize, and assemble facts from pleadings, filings, and other docket materials
- Apply your knowledge of civil litigation and legal research platforms such as Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, or Lexis Nexis
- Retrieve key legal documents
, including dockets, motions, affidavits, court orders, subpoenas, depositions, and jury verdicts - Set up and monitor current awareness tools and docket alerts to track new developments for our clients
- Collaborate with management to ensure deadlines are met and deliverables maintain exceptional quality
- A strong interest in legal research, litigation, and data‑driven analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex information
- Strong written communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly
- A proactive, self‑motivated mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Comfort managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- A bachelor’s degree—ideally in legal studies, political science, business law, criminal justice, or a related research‑heavy field
- Experience using legal research databases (Westlaw, Bloomberg Law, Lexis Nexis, or similar)
- Professional experience working in a law firm, law department, or law industry
