Job Description
A vital role within our Supply Chain team responsible for driving customer‑first performance across order fulfillment, distribution planning, forecasting, and communication.
Key Responsibilities- Work with the manager to communicate metrics and performance to various levels of the organization and customers.
- Gather data and conduct analysis with the goal of improving the customer scorecard.
- Identify underperforming areas in the supply chain and suggest resolutions and improvements.
- Gain a thorough understanding of customer performance expectations, routing guides and operational requirements; communicate updates to the supply chain team.
- Understand, communicate and manage customer expectations around the impact to customers when Milwaukee Tool initiates a change.
- Order management.
- Proactively identify risks of non‑compliance and work with sales, channel and supply‑chain functions to minimize customer impacts.
- Work with the manager to organize information/data to align and document orders that should not be penalized with the goal of reducing non‑compliance violations.
- Actively engage in the dispute process to avoid compliance fines.
- Categorize and analyze opportunities for improvement; leverage project‑management skills to coordinate and manage cross‑functional team members.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with customers.
- Review and manage consumption and supply/demand alignment.
- Product reservation and allocation recommendations and management.
- Promotional execution planning and management.
- Customer data (POS, inventory) review, analysis, and alignment.
- Drive order fulfillment initiatives to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or operations management and a minimum of two years of experience in supply‑chain/operations (internships, professional level, or equivalent education & experience).
- Ability to use, navigate and optimize an ERP system.
- Ability to interact and influence all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated initiative, problem‑solving, critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Ability to multi‑task in a busy, deadline‑oriented environment.
- Proficient use of MS Office software (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong oral, written communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Power BI and ERP experience are a plus.
- Inventory management experience.
- Distribution and operations experience.
