Tool Room Planner

We are currently seeking a skilled Tool Room Planner to take full responsibility for managing operations during a period of organizational transition within our manufacturing facility.

Location:

Milwaukee 53209 (On-site). Duration: 10 to 26 weeks. Compensation: $20-25 per hour.

• Create and manage comprehensive daily and weekly schedules to ensure alignment with production requirements.
• Oversee the maintenance, adjustment, and third-party servicing of tooling equipment to ensure operational continuity.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all tooling vendors and external service partners.
• Track vendor efficiency, adherence to schedules, and overall service quality to maintain high standards.
• Handle the procurement process for necessary tooling components, supplies, and professional services.

• Demonstrated history of collaborating with outside vendors to guarantee that project timelines are met.
• Deep understanding of Kanban methodologies, cycle counting, and effective inventory management.
• Background in generating and monitoring purchase requisitions to help streamline the supply chain.
• Skilled in using Microsoft Excel alongside ERP or MRP software for data management.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities to help balance competing priorities and maintain team efficiency.
