Construction Project Manager

Location: Milwaukee, WI Onsite & Field Based (travel required to project sites)

Duration & Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire

Chamberlain Advisors is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee construction projects from initiation to completion. This role is accountable for directing, coordinating, and supervising all project activities while setting high standards of safety, quality, and performance. The Construction Project Manager will engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders and adherence to OSHA and company policies.

What You Will Be Accountable For
  • Develop project scopes, objectives, and communication strategies involving all relevant stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, schedules, and budgets.
  • Ensure staffing, resource allocation, and availability meet project requirements.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and KPIs.
  • Provide on‑site leadership and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
  • Conduct roof surveys, collect data, and meet with clients to define requirements.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with OSHA rules, regulations, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships and manage expectations through effective communication.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to personnel.
  • Conduct conflict resolution, manage third‑party vendors, and resolve project issues.
  • Prepare and deliver reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
What Qualifications You Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, OR a minimum of 5 years of direct field supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of project management experience within construction, with strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and field operations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, build relationships, and collaborate effectively with clients, vendors, and cross‑functional partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts, influence stakeholders, and clearly articulate complex information.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with sound judgment, adaptability, and attention to detail in dynamic project environments.
  • Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing budgets, contracts, and project resources.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction‑related software; experience with Adobe/Bluebeam or Procore preferred.
  • Committed to fostering a positive and accountable work environment, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed to project/client sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in safe ladder handling.
  • Commercial roofing or construction industry knowledge.
  • Experience mentoring and managing direct reports (3–5 individuals).
  • OSHA 10 Certification (must be certified within 6 months of employment).
Physical Demands
  • Frequent sitting, talking, and handling equipment.
  • Regular standing, walking, climbing ladders, and working on rooftops.
  • Occasional stooping, bending, and reaching overhead.
  • Ability to lift 50–70 pounds daily.
  • Requires full range of vision abilities including depth perception and focus adjustment.
