Position Overview

The Sr. PM is an integral part of the team, reporting to the Director of Operations. This role requires complete understanding and mastery of all aspects of project safety, budget, financial performance, fiscal responsibility, team management, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for successfully managing projects that will return the required profit to the company.
• Oversee overall management of assigned projects from pre‑construction to final acceptance and payment.
• Recommend or take action to solve all issues that will delay completion, have a negative financial impact, or result in poor quality.
• Orchestrate project tracking methods to ensure timely reporting to internal and external parties.
• Close out the project and establish touchpoints with the client to address warranty items and anchor long‑term relationships.
• Responsible for multiple projects and mentoring staff.
• Establish the job requirements of the team assigned to the project and monitor their performance.
• Responsible for mentoring and training the Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Superintendents who are assigned to them.
• Maintain alliance of and nurture the relationships within the Project Team.
• Communicate with clients and subcontractors, negotiating costs and schedules.
• Actively seek new opportunities for work and complete assigned tasks to support sales efforts.
• Participate in the interview and RFP process for new work.
• Develop and maintain a high level of communication, coordination, and cooperation.
• Assist estimating with bidding for future assigned projects.
• Contact subcontractors to solicit interest in projects being bid.
• Review final plans and estimates with the estimator prior to submission.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the details of the project.

Education & Qualifications

• Education: A BS in construction management/engineering or a BS in a related field complimented by appropriate/applicable experience is required.
• Qualifications:
• The mental capacity for spatial comprehension.
• Ability to interpret contract documents.
• Ability to guide, direct, and coordinate the work of multiple activities simultaneously.
• Proven organizational skills.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
