We re seeking a Senior Program/Project Manager to lead high-impact enterprise transformation initiatives within the life insurance/financial services space.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of complex program/project leadership
, strong experience with large-scale system implementations, conversions or modernization efforts
, and the ability to drive alignment across business, technology, executive stakeholders and external partners.
The ideal candidate brings strong project and program leadership experience, a deep understanding of life insurance, annuities, and financial services, and the ability to confidently lead large initiatives in a dynamic environment.
Key Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive project, program, transformation, or related leadership experience
- Proven success leading large-scale enterprise programs and complex technology initiatives
- Experience with system implementations, conversions, modernization, or transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of the life insurance, annuities, and financial services industries
- Experience leading initiatives throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
- Experience working across waterfall, iterative, and agile delivery methodologies
- Strong executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority
- Strong vendor and external partner management experience
- Exceptional organization, planning, risk management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to identify roadblocks, manage dependencies, and proactively drive solutions
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- PMP Certification REQUIRED
- 8+ years of project/program/transformation leadership experience
- Demonstrated success managing complex, enterprise-level initiatives
- Strong experience within life insurance, annuities, financial services, or a closely related industry
- Strong understanding of SDLC and enterprise technology delivery
- Experience leading multiple concurrent projects
- Experience with waterfall, iterative, and agile methodologies
- Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills
- Proven vendor management experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
