The Residential Manager is responsible for overseeing activities, funds, and schedules for two home locations; and ensuring all residents are properly managed and cared for. The Residential Manager is a Full-Time position and must be able to work a flexible full time schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and any other day when emergencies or staff call-offs occur that would require he/she to work.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to carry out ALL duties that are required by Direct Care Staff; all
- management positions involve hands-on work that requires you to assist with all
- areas, including personal hygiene, medication administration, daily household
- chores, and support in the community
- Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governing the operations of group homes for
- developmentally disabled individuals
- Ability to oversee the operations of assigned personnel
- Ability to follow and enforce personnel policies and rules of the organization
- Ability to maintain both client and company confidentiality; including, but not
- limited to, client records, staff records, client experiences, and agency information
- Ability to respond to emergency situations 24 hours a day
- Excellent communication skills; both oral and written
- Behavior management
- Ability to make good judgment calls in stressful situations
- Exceptional planning, organization, supervisory, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Able to work well with a variety of personalities, as well as be able to motivate a
- diverse group
- Maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to properly use authority
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- 3-5 years experience working in a residential setting
- 1-2 years management experience
- Valid Driver's License
- 21 years or older
- Must possess a reliable vehicle, in safe/operable condition with current
- registration and insurance
