Production Scheduler

STS Technical Services is hiring a Production Scheduler in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Production Scheduler supports a growing manufacturing operation by compiling information into a master production schedule, improving communication processes, and ensuring stakeholders have timely visibility into work status. This role coordinates workflow, monitors job progress, and aligns production activity with material availability, capacity constraints, and customer demands.

• Compile information from multiple sources into a master production schedule
• Improve communication methods and scheduling processes to increase visibility on the plant floor
• Check progress of work on the plant floor and report updates in the master schedule
• Assist in coordinating the flow of work and materials between departments
• Evaluate make to stock inventory and its impact on downstream production
• Closely track high profile jobs to ensure timely delivery
• Coordinate with Procurement, Quality, and Logistics to align production with material and capacity constraints
• Perform administrative tasks as needed
• Report directly to the Operations Manager within the Production Control team
• Apply analytical skills to distill information into actionable insights for production supervisors
• Function cooperatively within a team of engineers and production personnel

• Associate or Bachelor degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Relevant experience in production planning, scheduling, project management, or operations
• Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems, project management tools, and Excel features such as tables, filters, and sorting
• Familiarity with Smartsheet or Epicor preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation between three nearby facilities
• Ability to pass a pre employment physical and drug screening
