Quality Technician

Position Summary

Position will inspect product according to specifications and standards. Document non‑conformances and work with associates to implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Conduct audits and assist in analyzing data to identify corrective and preventive improvements

  Why investigations of issues
• Read and interpret the requirements of drawings.
• Analyze drawing requirements and make sound determinations of the appropriate inspection method/equipment to be used for product acceptance.
• Use inspection equipment (/OD mic, calipers, various other gauges) in determining product acceptance.
• Initiate and complete all quality (Inspection) related records and documents with minimal supervision.

• A minimum of 2 years of Quality experience in an ISO 9001 manufacturing setting.
• Basic knowledge of ASME‑Y14.5 (Geometric Tolerance) and ability to apply/inspect requirements with minimal supervision.
• Able to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to support PPAP sample inspection.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Experience with SAP MRP system preferred but not required.
