Job Description SummaryGE Healthcare is in need of a Manufacturing Technician to assist in the processing of scintillator material (Load/unload furnaces, product formation and densification), Data Collection, Product Sampling, Analytical testing (Particle Size Analysis & ICP), and Chemical handling (Both liquid and solid). As a production technician, your responsibilities will stretch beyond making daily output targets by being involved with trouble shooting and working with the engineering team.

Responsibilities- Operate and monitor calcine furnace, disk mill, and compactor equipment in the powder processing room to produce high-quality CT subassembly materials.
- Ensure strict compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards, including consistent use of PPE, maintaining clean/organized work areas, and reporting hazards promptly.
- Follow GE Health Care’s Quality Management System and operational processes to deliver defect-free material, maintaining accurate and timely production and recordkeeping.
- Achieve production delivery targets by monitoring daily output, escalating issues promptly, and ensuring products are delivered on time to support customer needs.
- Minimize scrap and equipment downtime by following proper operating procedures, escalating process issues, and contributing to cost-efficient manufacturing.
- Foster a culture of respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement by treating colleagues fairly, suggesting process enhancements, and actively supporting a safe, positive work environment.
- Associates degree (or local equivalent 2 year degree), or a High School diploma (or local equivalent) and 2 or more years technical experience
- Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
- Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering or Technology related fields
- Prior experience in Chemical manufacturing
