Job DescriptionRR Donnelley is looking to add a Logistics Technician with Forklift experience to our 2nd shift team!
2nd shift typically works 8 PM to 6:30 AM (Fridays and Saturdays start 7:00 PM).
Pay: $17.00/hr + 1.25/hr shift premium.
Responsibilities- Move material within and from the warehouse to the production area, and return finished products to the shipping area.
- Unload trucks of raw materials and load recycling material on trucks in a safe, timely and cost‑effective manner.
- Move all materials within the production area and locate copy.
- Work closely with machine leads and site supervision to manage raw materials, ensuring continuous production of finished products.
- Remove pallets, strapping and packing materials, and move recycle materials to the recycle area. Interpret work orders and perform appropriate duties to support production machine changeovers.
- Receive and store all postal equipment until needed by production.
- As required by USPS, complete precisely all required paperwork to ensure proper loads prior to dispatching trucks.
- Perform good housekeeping techniques at the job site areas, properly handling paper waste and debris, and removing all potential safety hazards from the general area.
- Maintain the facility by applying Environmental Health & Safety and Good Housekeeping Standards as needed.
- Weigh and place finished products in the proper location following company/department guidelines.
- Produce in/out reports and complete Problem Material Reports.
- High School Diploma or GED (Preferred).
- 0–1 year related experience.
- Ability to speak and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to multi‑task and pay attention to detail.
- Knowledge of USPS shipping requirements and company transportation, production and receiving procedures.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
The rate of pay for this role is $17.00/hr typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. In addition to the hourly rate, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call‑in and/or stand‑by pay.
