Receiving Clerk

Major manufacturing company in the Milwaukee area has immediate need for a Receiving Clerk to join the team as a result of continued growth.

Seeking a detail‑oriented Receiving Clerk to record and review receiving transactions in the ERP system. This role is critical to maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely processing of receipts for production and Accounts Payable.

• Receive incoming shipments and verify against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Accurately enter receiving data into ERP (Epicor) — quantity, part numbers, vendor information.
• Inspect goods for damage/discrepancies and report any issues.
• Coordinate with purchasing and quality control teams to resolve receiving issues.
• Label and route received items to appropriate storage or production areas.
• Maintain organized records of receiving documents and transactions.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred (Accounting).
• 1+ year of experience in receiving, inventory, or warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook, ERP systems).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, forklift).

• Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and ERP.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
