Welder – Global Power Components

We are seeking an experienced 035/.045 Production Welder to fabricate heavy gauge steel diesel fuel tanks. The role requires welding components in flat/vertical or overhead positions, clamping, holding, tack‑welding, grinding or bolting component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding. Work pieces are positioned and secured using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools. Products/equipment are inspected for defects/malfunctions.

• Weld components in flat/vertical or overhead positions.
• Clamp, hold, tack‑weld, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.
• Position and secure work pieces using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools.
• Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions.

• Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem‑solve.
• Highly motivated.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Must pass competency test, weld test and pre‑employment physical including drug screen.

Hours:

40–50 hours per week.
