CNC MACHINIST

CNC Machinist - HIRING URGENTLY:

• $28.00/hr-$38.00/hr
• Shift Premium: $3.00-$4.00/hr

• 1st shift: 6:00am-2:00pm or 4x10s
• 2nd shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm or 4x10s
• 3rd shift: 10:00pm-6:00am or 4x10s
• Flexible start times: early/leave early or 4x10hr shifts

• Stability:
  No layoffs despite pandemic, contracts secured through 2026, selling into 2027.

• Set up and operate large or small turning & milling centers on custom components for a variety of customers. Edit G&M codes at the controller and essentially program your own jobs. Most parts are around 20".
• Perform shop math and geometric, algebraic, and trigonometric calculations.
• Perform metric conversions.
• Read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings.
• Experience with G&M code and conversational controls is a plus.
• Calculate feeds and speeds.
• Strong understanding of geometric tolerancing.

• Extensive hands‑on experience in CNC machine setup and operation.
• Familiarity with selecting, maintaining, and using cutting tools and fixtures.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities to resolve machining issues quickly.
• Ability to program CNC machines from scratch when needed.
• Skill in choosing optimal tool path strategies, feeds, speeds, and depths of cuts.
• Versatility in operating CNC vertical machining centers and turning centers.
• High attention to detail, maintaining tight tolerances.
• Advanced knowledge of shop mathematics, including trigonometry.
• Strong ability to interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.
• Consistently efficient in running both new and repetitive jobs.

Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range is $41,600 - $75,000 per year.
