Electricians Electrical Assemblers

Global Power Components on 51st & Lincoln in Milwaukee is in need of Skilled or Entry Level Electricians & Electrical Assemblers. 1st & 2nd Shift Available with Flexible hours and Overtime Available but not Required. Hourly Wage is $17-$25, based on Experience. Join a Fast Growing Team in the construction of Large Steel & Aluminum Enclosures used in the Power Generation Industry.

• Pre-assemble electrical kits from inventoried components and GPC fabricated components.
• Light fabrication work: drilling, forming, wire striping and crimping.
• Material Handling.
• Work with Electrical Engineering, Production Supervisors, & Team Leads.
• Support the installation needs for various electrical equipment.

• Detail oriented with ability to learn to read blueprints and bill of materials.
• Aptitude to learn GPC manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read measuring devices such as tape measure.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Highly motivated with desire to learn and advance.
• Ability to communicate and work well with others.
• Must pass competency test and pre-employment physical including drug screen.
• Physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
