CNC Machinist - HIRING URGENTLY

We are hiring a skilled CNC Machinist in Milwaukee, WI. Join our team for stable, growth-oriented opportunities.

• $28.00/hr-$38.00/hr

• Shift Premium: $3.00-$4.00/hr

• 1st shift (6:00am-2:00pm) or 4x10s

• 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm) or 4x10s

• 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am) or 4x10s

• Flexible start times:
  Can start early/leave early or do 4x10hr shifts

• Stability: No layoffs during the pandemic. Contracts secured until 2026, selling into 2027.

• Placement: Direct Hire, no contracts.

• Opportunity: Chance to go back to school and grow into CNC Programming or Engineering.

• Set up and operate large or small turning & milling centers on custom components for a variety of customers. Edit G & M codes at the controller and essentially program the machine. Parts mainly around 20”.

• Perform shop math (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and geometric, algebraic, trigonometric calculations.

• Must perform metric conversions.

• Read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings.

• G & M code experience; conversational controls knowledge is a plus.

• Calculate feeds and speeds.

• Strong understanding of geometric tolerancing.

• Extensive hands‑on experience in CNC setup and operation.

• Familiarity with selecting, maintaining, and using various cutting tools and fixtures.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities to resolve machining issues quickly.

• Program CNC machines from scratch when needed.

• Skill in selecting optimal tool‑path strategies, feeds, speeds, and depths of cuts.

• Versatility in operating both vertical machining centers and turning centers.

• High attention to detail; maintain tight tolerances.

• Advanced shop mathematics, including trigonometry.

• Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and blueprints.

• Consistently efficient in running new and repetitive jobs.

• Experience implementing process improvements and efficiencies.

• Calculate RPM based on SFM.

This is a permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $58,240.00 - $83,200.00 per year.
