We re partnering with a company supporting manufacturing operations to find a talented Tool Room Planner
This temporary role in Milwaukee involves managing tooling activities, inventory, and vendor coordination to ensure production needs are met.
Milwaukee 53209 On-site. | Temp--10 to 26 weeks | $20-25 /hr.
- Develop and oversee daily and weekly schedules to align with manufacturing demands.
- Coordinate tooling repairs, modifications, and external vendor work.
- Act as the main liaison with tooling suppliers and service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery timelines, and service levels.
- Manage procurement requests for tooling parts, consumables, and services.
- Proven experience working with external vendors, ensuring timely delivery.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, cycle counting, and Kanban systems.
- Experience creating and tracking purchasing requisitions and expediting orders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems like ERP or MRP.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills for managing multiple priorities.
