Job Description

The General Production Worker will support a 12-week project to rework approximately 27,000 medical device parts that were mislabeled or packaged incorrectly. In this role, you manually assemble, package, label, and inspect medical devices in a cleanroom environment, following safety and quality guidelines. You handle small components, ensure accurate packaging and labeling, and carefully document work using computer systems and basic Excel.

Responsibilities
  • Manually assemble medical device components according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Package medical devices accurately, ensuring correct materials, quantities, and configurations.
  • Relabel and rework returned parts that were previously mislabeled or packaged incorrectly.
  • Visually inspect small components and finished packages for defects, damage, or inconsistencies.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area.
  • Perform general production and labor tasks as needed to support daily workflow.
  • Accurately label and pack products to meet quality and regulatory standards.
  • Use computers and basic Excel to document work performed, track rework progress, and record production data.
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational procedures throughout the production process.
  • Collaborate with team members and follow instructions to meet production goals and project timelines.
Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of production experience.
  • Experience working in packaging, assembly, or general labor roles.
  • Ability to work with small components and perform detailed, repetitive tasks with high accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail for labeling, packaging, and visual inspection of medical devices.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience using Excel for documenting work.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Capability to work effectively in a cleanroom environment and comply with cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Reliability in maintaining consistent productivity and quality throughout the 12-week project.

  • Experience in labeling, packing, or production environments is an advantage.
  • Comfort with documenting production activities and rework details in computer systems.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a production team.

Work Environment

This role operates on first shift, Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Work takes place in a cleanroom production environment focused on medical device assembly and packaging, with established cleanliness, safety, and quality standards. You use standard production equipment and computer systems, including Excel, to perform and document your work, and you follow all cleanroom and safety protocols throughout your shift.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
