• Direct daily shift activities, including personnel assignments, workflow scheduling, and resource allocation to maximize labor and material utilization.
• Prioritize a culture of safety by enforcing strict compliance with industrial protocols, conducting regular audits, and promptly addressing any hazards.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing throughput, reduce scrap rates, and optimize machine uptime.
• Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring all outputs adhere to strict bill of materials and technical specifications.
• Mentor and develop direct reports through structured training, performance coaching, and regular feedback sessions.
• Maintain operational documentation, including production logs, timecards, and equipment maintenance records, ensuring total accuracy.
• Foster a collaborative environment by communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve operational bottlenecks and customer requirements.
• Manage departmental housekeeping and organization to maintain a safe, efficient, and 5S-compliant workspace.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership or supervisory role.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Demonstrated success in leading continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs and navigating industrial environments.

• Experience with ISO 9000 quality management systems and documentation.
• Technical proficiency in creating or modifying engineering drawings.
• Proven track record in hazardous waste management and compliance.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
