Production Team Lead - Food Manufacturing

As a Production Team Lead (Bakery), you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring that our high-quality food products meet rigorous safety and efficiency standards. You will play a pivotal role in mentoring team members and driving operational excellence within a fast-paced food production environment.

• Direct daily production workflows to ensure all output, quality, and efficiency targets are met.
• Foster a high-performing team culture by coaching associates and providing actionable performance feedback.
• Maintain strict compliance with food safety protocols, including GMP, USDA, and BRC standards.
• Coordinate staffing and resource allocation to optimize production schedules and meet demand.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality assurance, and sanitation departments to resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, reduce waste, and improve overall throughput.
• Manage employee development, including onboarding, training, and performance documentation.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with a focus on food or bakery production.
• 3+ years of proven leadership experience supervising production teams.
• Strong ability to drive accountability and achieve operational KPIs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

• Experience with in a frozen food manufacturing environment.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with OSHA, LOTO, and other EHS safety regulations.
• Post-secondary coursework in leadership or business management.
• Experience utilizing ERP or MRP software systems.
