Machine Operator, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
Do you have some machining experience and want to get better at your trade? Do you enjoy working with your hands, figuring things out, and seeing a finished part come together?
We're looking for someone like you!
At Krueger Bearings, we aren't a high-volume production shop where you make thousands of the same part every day. We're a family-owned machine shop specializing in low-volume, custom machining. Our work offers variety, different challenges, and the opportunity to keep learning.
You don't have to know everything already. We're looking for someone with a good mechanical aptitude, some machining experience, and the desire to learn and grow.
If you're ready to take the next step in your machining career, let's talk!
What You'll DoOperate manual milling machines to produce precision parts.
Learn and perform machine setups with guidance as needed.
Read blueprints and learn to work within required tolerances.
Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to check your work.
Learn to select tooling and determine the best approach for each job.
Make adjustments to produce quality parts that meet specifications.
Work with experienced machinists and other team members to solve problems.
Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.
Learn a valuable trade. Build on your existing experience and continue developing your manual machining skills.
Variety in your work. Our low-volume jobs mean different parts, different challenges, and opportunities to learn.
Work with experienced people. Learn from others who understand machining and take pride in doing quality work.
Be part of a family-owned company. We value teamwork, craftsmanship, and employees who want to contribute.
Take pride in what you make. Our precision bearings serve demanding industrial applications, including applications supporting U.S. Navy ships.

Basic blueprint-reading and measurement skills, or a willingness to develop them.
Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
A willingness to learn new skills and accept coaching.
A dependable attitude and commitment to quality.
The ability to work independently as your skills develop and to work well with a team.
You don't need to be an expert. We want someone who shows up ready to learn, works hard, asks questions, and takes pride in getting the job done right.
