Froedtert Health – Milwaukee, WI – On‑Site – 0.90 FTE – Shift 3

Cardiac Progressive Care Unit is a specialized environment dedicated to the care of patients undergoing intricate surgeries and advanced cardiac management. This role demands strong time‑management, critical thinking, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with interdisciplinary providers. Our focus is on delivering patient‑centered care that prioritizes the unique needs of each individual.

• Minimum 2 years related clinical experience; 2 years critical care experience required for critical care positions unless approved by Unit Manager.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required. Non‑BSN RNs with at least 2 years acute care experience considered if committed to obtain BScN within 5 years.
• Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License required; multi‑state nursing license accepted through Nurse Licensure Compact.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire. AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership history: shared governance unit‑based council chair, committee chair, preceptor, or process super‑user/champion.
