STAFF RN, FH - 2NT - TRAUMA/ACS PROGRESSIVE CARE

Location: Milwaukee, WI – FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility (On-site)

Full-time, 0.6 FTE (24 hours)

Shift: Shift 4 – 24.00 standard hours, holidays and weekends apply.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse is a practitioner responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. The role focuses on adult patients in Trauma/ACS Progressive Care. The job description incorporates essential functions from the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice (2010).

Experience: Clinical competence and experience in the care and management of target patient populations specific to the area of employment.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred. A non‑BSN RN with less than one year of licensed experience must enroll in a BSN or higher program within 15 months of hire and complete it within five years (six if MSN, DNP, PhD).

Licensure: Current Wisconsin RN License or multi‑state license under the NLC. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent required within 90 days.
