Position:
Full‑time, 0.9 FTE (36.00 hours per week).
Shift: Three 12‑hour night shifts under the Weekend Program (Thursday, Friday, Saturday nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM). Premium weekend shift differential and one weekend off each quarter.
The Neuro Intensive Care Unit is a 20‑bed specialty ICU caring for stroke, neurointerventional procedures, neurovascular surgery, epilepsy, spinal cord injury, and brain injury patients. The nurse‑patient ratio is 1:1 or 2:1. Our team provides 24/7 care with a collaborative interdisciplinary staff.
Job SummaryThe Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment, primarily adult patients. The RN must demonstrate competency in the delivery of care to this population and meet the ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice.
Experience RequiredClinical competence and experience in caring for neuro‑ICU patient populations.
Education RequiredAccredited School of Nursing degree. A non‑BSN RN with
