The GI Lab Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy academic health system GI Lab, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This role provides leadership for clinical staff, manages resources to align with patient needs and budget targets, and drives continuous improvement in care delivery and operational performance.

• Supervise and coordinate GI Lab operations to ensure safe, effective patient care.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, and resource deployment to support volume and productivity goals.
• Lead recruitment, retention, performance management, and staff development.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Promote change management, efficiency initiatives, and quality improvement efforts.
• Provide leadership and support in high-stress clinical situations.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment in a clinical role is required. Leadership experience preferred. Quality improvement, process improvement, team building, problem solving and coaching experience is highly preferred.

Bachelors degree in nursing is required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.

Required current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact).
