Qualifications: Must have current and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Wisconsin.

Overview: The RN provides quality nursing care, supervises daily nursing functions, and coordinates resident care with other disciplines, in accordance with federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and administer medication as ordered by the physician.
• Review medication orders for completeness and accuracy.
• Transcribe physician orders.
• Document resident information, notify physicians and families as needed.
• Assist in admission/discharge processes.
• Complete incident reports and follow-up investigations.
• Participate in care planning and conferences.
• Maintain good rapport with all disciplines to ensure resident needs are met.
• Deal tactfully with personnel, residents, families, visitors, and agencies.
• Participate in continuing education programs.
