Under the supervision of the Unit Manager/ADON/DON, the RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of residents/patients during a shift of duty. The RN provides nursing care through assessment, implementation, and evaluation of the plan of care, adheres to North Shore’s policies and procedures, follows the State Nurse Practice Act and JCAHO standards, and supervises nursing assistants and helpers. The RN maintains a safe environment and ensures resident/patient safety.

• Licensed in the State as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current CPR certification
• Able to use necessary supplies and equipment (feeding pumps, oxygen, treatment trays, medication cart, etc.)
• Ability to calculate drug dosage
• Meet all health requirements imposed by law
• Positive, effective communication with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and staff
• English literacy for reading, writing, speaking, and understanding
• Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn company applications
• Experience in a fast‑paced environment
• Previous post‑acute care experience (preferred)
