Base pay: $40.30/hr - $60.45/hr

• Demonstrates operational accountability ensuring an efficient and effective nursing unit during the shift, meeting patient care needs while adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Facilitates collaboration among healthcare professionals, ensuring effective communication and coordination of patient care.
• Provides clinical oversight and guidance to nursing staff, ensuring that patient care meets established standards and protocols.
• Provides coaching, mentoring, and educational opportunities to strengthen nursing staff professional growth.
• Oversees continuous quality improvement initiatives within the nursing unit.
• Fosters a culture of innovation and excellence to maintain the highest care standards.
• Ensures clear and effective communication among nursing staff.
• Promotes a collaborative environment to optimize patient care delivery.
• Manages resource utilization, ensuring staffing, equipment, and supplies are allocated effectively.
• Coordinates emergency response and crisis management effectively.
• Advocates for patients and families, ensuring their voices are heard.
• Upholds the organization's Code of Ethical Conduct.
• Demonstrates age‑specific nursing care competence for patient populations.

• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 6 months unless otherwise determined.

• Bachelor's degree in nursing.

• Typically requires 5 years of nursing experience.

• Charge nurse experience preferred.
• Strong clinical skills.
• Ability to lead in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

• Assessment of others' skills and abilities.
• Ability to coach and provide service recovery.
