Opportunity:
RN - VASCULAR ACCESS
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Unique 7 days on, 7 days off schedule working Monday through Sunday
• Every other weekend required
• No call responsibilities
• Vascular Access Nurse experience required
• Must be competent in USG-PIV placement and PICC placement with ECG technology
• Minimum 2 years of recent direct patient care as a registered nurse in medical/surgical or critical care setting
• Associates degree in nursing required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from NLC participating state required
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate vascular access nursing care according to professional practice model
• Strong interpersonal skills needed to manage complex situations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Critical thinking skills required to incorporate empirical knowledge with clinical diagnoses for appropriate decision making
• Coordinate care across multiple services
