Travel RN - Telemetry - Stepdown

American Traveler is hiring an RN Step Down for a 13-week telemetry/PCU assignment requiring 2 years of acute care experience and a WI or compact RN license.

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg, or Med-Surg/Telemetry acute care experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills assessment
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Works in a Telemetry Unit within a hospital setting
• May be placed on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on facility need and traveler skill set
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• Care team supports patients on telemetry, PCU, or Med-Surg units depending on facility needs
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on facility location
• Only one submission permitted per Ascension system-wide position
• Travelers should discuss extension opportunities with their manager at least 45 days before assignment end date
