American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of recent ED or critical care experience and a WI or compact RN license.

• Work in the Emergency Department-Trauma unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 18:45-07:15
• Block scheduling with either M/T/W or W/T/F shifts
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• 8-week assignment length
• May require floating onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Epic EMR used

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA)
• TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience in a larger ED or critical care setting required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must have a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration
• Two separate professional references required

• Provide emergency and trauma nursing care within a hospital ED setting
• Only one submission allowed per candidate across the Ascension health system
• Candidates should discuss contract extensions with their manager approximately 45 days before the assignment end date
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates but potentially at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
• COVID-19 vaccination is not required
