American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and at least 2 prior travel contracts, along with a WI or compact RN license.

• Work in the Emergency Dept-Trauma unit of a hospital environment
• 13-week assignment with night shift schedule (19:00-07:30)
• Every other weekend or based on department needs, with every other holiday rotating with regular staff
• Cares for critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations
• Uses EPIC EMR
• May float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed

• Active WI or compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (must be AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• At least 2 prior travel contracts required
• TNCC and NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills for critical care patients
• Strong team collaboration and clear, timely communication skills
• Ability to appropriately escalate concerns and seek support to ensure patient safety
• Nursys license verification within 30 days prior to start required
• Current license and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start required

• Provide emergency care across critical care, psychiatric, and pediatric patient populations
• Collaborate closely with the care team, escalating concerns as needed to ensure patient safety
• Radius rule applies which may affect local candidate pay rate
• Local candidates may be considered at a reduced rate under the facility radius rule
