American Traveler is hiring an RN Step Down for a 13-week telemetry/PCU assignment requiring 2 years of acute care experience and EPIC proficiency.

• Works in a Telemetry/PCU unit, with placement based on greatest facility need (PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry)
• Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:30
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set or to sites within 40 miles as needed
• Uses EPIC EMR

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry acute care experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• RN Step Down (PCU) specialty exam and skills validation required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Must have a US Social Security Number and US home address

• Care provided to patients on a PCU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry unit depending on facility needs and traveler skill set
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
• Candidates should contact their recruiter for local rate details prior to consideration
• COVID vaccination is not required
• Travelers should begin discussing assignment extensions with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date
