Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift critical care assignment requiring a WI or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
• Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Work in the Critical Care-ICU unit of a hospital environment
• Contract lengths from 13 to 26 weeks accepted
  
  Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend and every other holiday required
• May float onsite to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU within skill set, as well as to Med/Surg/IMC patient assignments if needed
• May be required to float to facilities within 40 miles if needed
• Uses Epic EMR
• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, with potential cross-coverage in Neuro ICU, Burn ICU, and Med/Surg/IMC units as needed
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
• COVID vaccination is not required
