American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2+ years critical care experience and flexibility to float within skill set across multiple units.

• Critical Care-ICU unit setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Contract lengths from 13 to 26 weeks accepted
• May float to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU based on skill set
• May receive Med/Surg/IMC patient assignments if needed
• Floating may be required onsite or to facilities within 40 miles
• Uses EPIC EMR system

• Active WI or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Current license and Nursys primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, with potential cross-coverage of Neuro ICU, Burn ICU, and Med/Surg/IMC patients as needed
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Radius rule applies; local candidates accepted but may receive a reduced rate depending on distance from facility
• Candidates should begin discussing extension with their manager approximately 45 days before assignment end date
• COVID vaccination is not required
