This is a 100% phone-based role.
The RN reviews patient charts and triages patients to ensure they meet the selection criteria for an outpatient surgery center based on anesthesia guidelines. They then contact patients to provide pre-procedure instructions, including medication guidance based on established protocols and guidelines.
The role may also involve coordinating communication between anesthesia providers and patients to determine whether a patient is appropriate for an outpatient setting.
