Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site position located in Milwaukee, WI. The Food Safety and Quality Professional will be responsible for overseeing food safety and quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and facilitating audits and inspections. The role includes monitoring production processes, performing quality control tests, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating cross‑functional teams to implement food safety and quality improvements.

The candidate will also work on developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) to uphold food safety best practices.

Qualifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of food safety principles, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance programs
  • Experience in creating, implementing, and managing standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including monitoring production processes and conducting quality control tests
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross‑functional teams and creating documentation
  • Knowledge of High Pressure Pasteurization (HPP) technology and food manufacturing processes is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred
  • Certification in food safety programs such as HACCP, SQF, or PCQI is highly desirable
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
